This is an unusual (60+% Meunier) and outstanding $40 bottle of bubbles.

I didn't care for the Egly Meunier, so I was nervous when I read about this bottle before I opened it...

But boy, I was wrong...

Really tasty wine, it's balanced nicely (no harshness to the acidity or any green flavors) between toasty elegance and doughy power. Some definite citrus fruit and a lovely nuttiness in the background.

This is one that is worth seeking out.

Terry Theise imports it.

Thanks for the heads up. Always could use an extra bubby during the holidays!
