This is my first Muga Reserva.

Black cherry, spice, some earthiness... It's a bit bigger than I expected, but it still is pretty light on its feet with good acids. A nice balance between power and elegance.

A really nice bottle of wine here, it seems like it's pretty open for business (after some time in the decanter), though with plenty of time left.

This one is free, WW. But you must write a typo-free essay on why you deserve to have it sent to you.

About $12/bottle, I think.

I think it was around $20, may have been a dollar or two more.
Looks like this bottling used to be cheaper, though Dan is better informed than I about this.
Speaking of, Dan, are you still getting this most vintages? And if so, have you tried the '05? And what are your thoughts on it?

Vouvrayhead,

Looks like you may have consumed the unfiltered version.

Prices for the wine range from $12 to $22, based on which version you get and which retailer you are stuck with...

Yep, you're absolutely right. It was unfiltered. I haven't seen the cheaper version at all in St Louis or Illinois.
