This was disappointing. Dark ruby color with some purple flashes. The nose is offputting. Anne said it first smelled like feet, and later said "it smells like Chicago." Further probing revealed that it had a malty-brewery sort of nose. I'd have said it smelled more like Milwaukee, but whatever. At any rate, the flavors were of cherry syrup and black pepper, with a lighter body than I would have guessed. Alc. 13.5%. Paid $10.
