I've got a Italian Red Wine (1994), and the description printed on the label is like below:
=========================================
Merlot Del Veneto
Vino Da Tavalo

Imbottigliato da casa Vinicola Cesari Spa Quinzano Italy
=========================================
Could you help me to find more information about this wine?
Thanks

Hi Scorpio, and welcome to the Wine Board. Your wine, as you may have guessed, is a merlot from the Veneto region. Not familiar with your specific wine, and will stand corrected if necessary, but these merlots are not particularly distinguished. It may still be an enjoyable part a good meal. IMHO the best Italian Merlots come from the more northeasten regions of Collio and Friuli. These can be among the best unblended merlots available from anywhere.

Thanks for all of your reply.
And here is one more question ...

How long should I open it before I taste it?

Thanks ....

You might decant it an hour before dinner to be on the safe side.

WW please forward the name of one unblended Bordeaux.
