This is a widely distributed Albarino that can be found for less than $15 a bottle. I had a glass with an appetizer at Riverside Steakhouse and Oyster Bar in Fayetteville (along banks of Cape Fear River.) Some gold tints in less than bright light. A little spicy, gingery on the tongue. Some similari-ties to Gewurztraminer. Lively and scintillating in the mouth. Good pairing with shellfish or salads in vinaigrette dressing.
