(from Palacios) $18

This is a very nice wine... Big, heady nose of sweet fruit, even pie-like followed on the palate with blueberry and black fruits and a bit of graphite to follow. Mellow vanilla notes round it out. Very soft upfront, but enough tannin to keep it interesting. Could age a bit, I'm guessin', but quite lovely now. Despite the bold fruit, it's got plenty of elegance... Quite a bit more than those fools I watched on tv tonight...
Very nice wine.
