2004 Embruix de Vall Llach, Priorat

My first Priorat..... enjoyed a couple of these over the last week with her Mexican casserole. Think of a third growth Bordeaux and add a touch of spice and that kinda-sorta describes this one. Very nice food wine but 15.1% alc/vol and about $23 at Costco. Other details are lost in the foggy past.

Internet search shows this wine does indeed include CS & Merlot, so comparison to a Bordeaux isn't far off the mark.
