I've always been puzzled when trying to match a wine with this slightly sweet dish.

What do you suggest?

A red from Southern Italy, even if it is chichen; e.g. a Nero D'Avalo.

ahh, I guess it would make sence to match this food with a Sicilian cooking with a wine from the same island. Why hadn't I thought of that?
