If you like late harvest Zin you'll like this. Beautiful, rich zin berry and traditional ruby port flavors enveloped in a wine with a long smooth finish. I picked this up for $11 and drank it around 50 deg.F. Don't think of this as a port. 19%Alc/vol.

Actually it is, but it's not a Port (or Porto), since this wine is from a good CA Zin producer, rather than Portugal. There are a few good domestic producers of port in CA and even WA, VA and MO.

Some to look for:

Quady
Ficklin
Praeger
St. Amant
Meyer (yep...Justin makes a nice one!)

WA-
Thurston Wolfe

VA-
Horton

MO-
Hermanhoff
