'04 Kendall-Jackson Vinters Reserve Chardonnay

2004 Kendall-Jackson, Vinters Reserve, Chardonnay, California ($6 375ml NH Liquor Store). Alcohol level: 13.5%.

Why, you may ask is he drinking that? Well I needed a half bottle, as we had discarded all we previously had before moving. Bev is suffer from a bout of acid reflux, and has to lay off alcohol and spicy things for a while. This was the only half bottle in the store!

To make the best of it, I grilled chicken breasts over charcoal with hickory chips. The hickory smoke on the chicken obscured most of the oak in the wine. As a matter of fact it wasn't half bad.
