Sterling Syrah

Attended a dinner last night in Fredericksburg Tx at which this (and numerous others) was offered during the cocktail hour. Hadn't heard of it, but found it quite pleasant with nice fruit, subdued tannins, not over-oaked or alkied. Had only one small glass, since I had to drive us home last night, 70 miles through critter country. Didn't note abv or retail price, but suspect 14% and maybe $12-$14.
