I did receive the following reply on 3/14 but it doesn't answer my question as he confused preferences with profile.

Greetings:

I apologize about the forum issues. We just took the forum from 1990’s BB technology to Ruby on Rails so, we had a few bumps in the road. We’re working at corrections.

To edit your profile settings, simply click on your name next to the little avatar icon, located in the lower right part of the header. Or, click on My Tastes in the header navigation – look to the top of the My Tastes page for the link to edit your profile. Your site login now covers the whole site, including wine reviews. And, the Review 20 Wines promotion is still live. Every 20 reviews, you get a free bottle. It’s decent wine too! Feel welcome to jump in.

And, if you spot any technical issues, please feel welcome to email me directly.

Regards and thanks for your patience,

Victor Soares
