2008 Tikal Patriota

A blend of 60% Bonarda and 40% Malbec consumed last night at a Brazilian style dinner. The wines were as expected, high quality cuvee juice from Mendoza with that electric blue/purple hue. Decanted and served within 15 minutes, this sucker is clean, full of dark cherries and raspberry, coconut shavings and vanilla with a long finish. I really enjoyed this wine and look forward to trying other Tikal wines...
