Since there are no pineapples near Seneca Lake, poetic license is invoked...

Don't exactly know who wrote the copy--the whole book is an amalgamation of writing and editing. But as the copy editor, I should have caught something like that--and didn't!

In my defense, however, I know that some other bromeliads do grow on trees.
