Though I am not familiar with the producer of your bottle of chenin blanc, I can tell you that most white wines do not normally keep longer than ten years under normal cellar conditions. Unless your bottle is from an outstanding producer, it's very possible it is either on its way out, or no longer any good. My recommendation would be to just leave it in the fridge for now, open it up first chance you get, and hope for the best.

Unless someone else can help out with more specific information on the producer of your bottle, I'd open it soon and have a back-up of something else ready just in case.
