A new appointment !

I've been keeping this a secret for some time now but now I have to spill my guts. Previously I mentioned that I had some things going on in my job. I've been in law enforcement for 34 years now, retired from the Baltimore City Police in 2003 only to accept a job with the State of Maryland immediately following retirement. Well I am now the newly appointed Chief of Police of the DORS Police Department (Division of Rehabilitation Police). One of only nine State run Comprehensive Rehabilitation Centers in the nation. It's a great honor and I'm burstin' at the seams. We're one of the sixteen or so small Police Departments in the State. A Celebration is in the works.
