Hi there Keith44 and welcome to the board. Bucko may be right, but he could be dead wrong if the mansion owner knew his wines. If he bought 1st growth bordeauxs' which could and should be a probability as Lafite, Mouton, Latour, Matrgaux, and Hauit brion sold for around 1.50 to 2 bucks a bottle back then, and with the storage you mention being a hidden basement, you may have some treasures. Suggest you post the names of some of the wines off of the labels, and we'll give it the ole' college try. If you have unearthed a real stash, then if you want to sell, contact one of the major auction houses for a complete appraisal. Good Luck. WW
