83 Opus

I recently acquired an 83 Opus 3.0 liter and have two questions.
1. There was slight leakage from the cork. Maybe 3-4 drops. Is this typical of older wines as they age?
2. Have you tried this recently? I know 83 wasn’t the best year, but because of the bottle size, is it possible that the wine is still good/drinkable?
