Thanks for the nice thoughts, folks. Yes, we were out on the water yesterday. The winds were very light, so instead of trying to spend the whole day sailing nowhere, we motored out into LI Sound and anchored near a small island. Opened a Piper Sonoma Blanc de Noir when we cleared the harbor, then an 02 Scherrer O&M with our lunch after we anchored. A little later we tried a Vega Sindoa Cab/Temp with some munchies. Came in about four and had a few beers in the yacht club bar. Then a couple double margharitas at a local Mex resto with dinner (fish tacos and a chicken/shrimp dish with a nice chipotle sauce). Judy had iced tea with her nachos grande, so someone would be able to see the road for the drive back. Nice easy day.
