Back to the surgeon

Hi Gang,

I just wanted you to know that I'm going back to the hospital for another surgery... This is still related to the hernia surgery last October that never healed. Now they are going to remove a piece of the mesh they put in then..... All very messy and no fun to talk about.

Anyway, I will be fine but I will be out of commission for a couple of weeks, I think. The doctor is saying that I'll be in the hospital about a week. Very good hospital (John Muir) in Walnut Creek. Maybe home by June 1st?

I know you'll wish me luck. Wish I could sneak in some good wine but there's not much chance of that.

I am hoping we have no technical glitches in the meantime.
