Hi Hypermod and welcome to the board. Have never seen a Compte brandy in all my wine travels. The light color is probably indicative of a Burgandy wine thats turned into a component for salad dressing. Post the whole label verbatum and can probably give more definative answer. As for value, a 1926 ANYTHING without a detailed guaranteed cellaring regimum is only worth the " Look what I gots " value. WW
