Marilyn Merlot 1988

Hello, and welcome to the wine board. Have you considered using ebay to try and sell it? The reason I suggest it is that it seems to me that most people who collect and/or would buy Marilyn Merlot do so for the label/packaging, not necessarily for the contents. Usually, wine collectors approach it from the reverse, and a MM from 1988 is almost certainly dead, further limiting the appeal to wine people. There seems to be a thriving reseller market for them over there (currently about 45 listings).
