Tawny the labrador (who thinks that she is a princess and the world revolves around her) is alive and growing. She is still pukey, aspirates a bit, and gets aspiration pneumonia on occasion, but we have plenty of antibiotics. The vet says gives her until 8-9 months until she gets close to adult size, then maybe she will grow into her esophagus and not puke and aspirate as much as WW. We are hoping so. She is a loving dog that gives everyone she sees a smile, and she seems happy in spite of it all.

I'm drinking a Texas wine tonight that a brother-in-law brought me. A Cap*Rock blend that is predominantly Sangiovese - Reserve Toscano Rosso, Texas High Plains, 1999. I am blown away by the quality of the wine. I thought it would be a nice gesture, then I would feed the drain gods, however the wine is complex and delicious. So much for preconceptions.
