Actually, I think I'd prefer screw caps to corks, just because of the fact that there would be no more corked wines. I've heard that one brand of the artificial corks seems to cause the wine to mature faster (forget which one). As to left over, opened bottles - they don't happen often, but when they do, we use some really nice stoppers we got as a gift (guess who from).
