One of the books I use is the "Larousse Encyclopedia of Wine".

Another you might consider would be Jancis Robinson's "Oxford Companion to Wine"

There is also a "Wine for Dummies" volume, but I've never read it and have not heard any reports about it.

Check with such places as Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com. Use the keyword "Wine" for your search. You will come up with hundreds of titles.

The two I gave you above are very good, but neither is inexpensive.
