Mystery Wine..Supposedly Italian

While dining at an Italian restaurant while on vacation, I had an exceptional white wine. I am almost sure that the wine was a Verdiccho and that spelling may be off a little. I do not remember the winery except for the fact that it started with sta. I have searched everywhere, local stores and websites, for this type, since I cannot remember the winery I haven’t bothered pursuing that method, of wine and cannot find it or anything about it.
