Hello OZ, and welcome! Best way to begin is to buy a good book. Andrea Immer's "Great Wines Made Simple" is the best. Follow her instructions, and try the different styles of wine. Not only will you learn of the different varieties, but you'll also get a feel for what you like. Have fun!
