Hi Bee, and welcome to the Wine Board. Those whites that you tried where most certainly off dry or slightly sweet. There are very few reds with that degree of sweetness. Sutter Home is where they are usually found, but you didn't like them. Try a Reunite Lambrusco. Also try some White Zins which are really roses'. Table wine in the U.S.A. is any wine that is not sparkling wine, dessert wine, or fortified wine.
