How long after opening is it good?

If you are just popping the cork back into the bottle you will have a day or two depending on the quality of the wine.

If you are transferring the wine into a smaller vessel (empty 1/2 bottle) or you are spraying it with Wine Preserve you will get 3-4 days. I would put the wine in the fridge (even red) and take it out 1/2 hour before serving.

The whole point here, whether smaller vessel or spraying, is to reduce the amount of oxygen the wine is exposed to. Only when you are drinking it does wine like Oxygen.
