Hmm, for a slightly sweet Pinot Noir that would go with steak.... try a Kenwood from the Russian River Valley. I happened to pair one last night with a pot roast, for which I'd prepared a slightly sweet wine & mushroom reduction, with the sweetness provided by a tad - maybe 1/4 cup - of maple syrup. Very nice. Picked up a case of the Kenwood at Costco today at about $10 per.
