Depending on its age, you should have a nice bottle of wine. "Old" in this case would be prior to 1998. It is a Loire Valley wine from France, made from the sauvignon blanc grape. It is made in a fresh, fruity manner without any oakyness, which plagues American Sauvignon Blanc. It also has a high degree of acidity, making it a lovely wine the accompany a wide variety of light, acidic dishes, such as entree salads.
