I'm not sure of sources in Texas. Know there is a problem shipping wines to Texas from out-of-state. Carolina Wine Company in Raleigh usually carries several Kracher TBAs (from Austria I believe) and they can run as much as $60 or more for a half-bottle (375ml). They are pretty expensive even in the country of origin (such as Germany or Austria) which is understandable because it takes so many clusters of the grapes to produce a small quantity of wine. I think I have a few of the 375ml bottles on hand that I bought at sale prices in December or January. Just checked and www.popswine.com has a few German Eisweins and Austria trockens listed at $50-$60 etc. (including a trocken from the weissburgunder grape at $50+ for a full-size bottle (750 ml). Pop's is in New York. Some of the larger online shops in Chicago may have listings also.
