Preferred White Wines

The best slightly sweet white wines for my palate are German Rieslings in the Spatlese or Auslese levels of sweetness. As a starter, try a JJ Prum Auslese from 1997.

Another way to go is to get a Baumard Coteaux du Layon wine from the Loire Valley which is also mildly sweet.

Ask your local wine dealer to give you something comparable if these are not available.
