Muscat is usually a white grape, often used to make fortified dessert (white) wine. However, there is also a red grape, sometimes used to make a fortified wine. I have never had it though. I understand that some Muscat de Frontignan wines (a Languedoc wine, South of France) are red. Also, I searched the net and a producer called Avondale from South Africa seems to make one.
