Actually a dealer in my area informed the that I believe it was a Moscatto?? Forgive my spelling, was dropped back several years ago and underwent a name change. To further the adventure, it was a red wine and very sweet to the taste. Not being a huge wine fan, though I am working on it!..lol. I have tried to find this particular wine for some time now and no one seems to have a clue. I have tried a few "like" brands", but with no luck have I encountered the same taste I am searching for that was produced by Stefano Farina. Is it possible I have described this wine wrong to the dealer? I have a bottle opener that was purchased along with the very same bottle I am searching for and it has a marking of Barolo on it. However at the time of purchase the dealer informed me that it was a "moscato" if I remember correctly. This has been 5 years plus ago when this occured so I know I appear to be rambling and I apologize. However this is important to a certain degree because I was hoping to find the same wine for my anniversary. If any of this helps, I would greatly appreciate it.
