Hi again Yvonne, and your meal will go great with pinot noir. Here are some remommendations (all under $15): Villa Mount Eden, BV Coastal or Napa Valley, HRM Rex-Goliath Free Range Central Coast, and Joseph Drouhin LaForet. The first four are from California, and the last is from France.

For New Year's look for Freixenet, Cordon Negro, Extra Dry, Cava ($8-11). As we told you before, "extra dry" in bubblies means "off dry." It should be sweet enough for you.
