Drew did the standard search and couldn't find it. He's one of the better researchers here. He finds all sorts of stuff. If he can't find it, its not to be found. The general consensus is that this wine probably isn't worth replacing. You can probably find a lot better quality drinks for a lot less money.

The people here are very friendly, especially towards people who don't know anything about wine. If they don't give you the answer you want, its not because they don't like wine newbies, its because they couldn't find anything. Accept that fact that the bottle you have may be the last of it you're going to get. And due to EU laws, my guess is that its no longer made. EU wine laws are getting very specific on bottling and origination issues. My guess is no one grows in Italy and bottles in Germany anymore. Especially in West Germany, since the Berlin Wall came down in '89. Enjoy the wine you have, and learn what you can from these friendly and knowledgable folks. They will bend over backwards to help you with anything they can actually accomplish.
