A teacher friend asked me this and I don't know the answer. In NJ it is permissable to BYOB to restaurants that do not have a liquor license. I've only ever taken a bottle to decent dining places. Could you conceivably take a bottle anywhere? Like to Pizza Hut or MacDonald's?
