In a local restaurant the other night I ordered, and enjoyed a great deal, Louis Martini 1996 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon. Amazingly (it was in a casino) the restaurant price was only $12 the bottle...I doubt you'll find that kind of restaurant price anywhere else in the country. I mention it because I remember thinking it very much like a regional Bordeaux red.
