My husband and I are new to the wine experience. I started looking for a good red wine to have a glass before bed. Now we are trying to get a little more educated in the finer aspects. It is so overwhelming going into a liquor store and trying to guess which wine will be good for dinner or to bring over to a friends house to drink with snacks. We both like red wines better than the whites. My husband likes it dry and I like it a little sweeter and fruitier. What would be some good choices to try?
