What's wrong with Wine for Dummies? It's a great reference book for beginners and above. Many of the experts here have the book, and they aren't dummies. However, if you have something against a wine book with Dummies in the title you could take a look at Wine Tasting Made Simple by Andrea Immer or The Wine Bible by Karen McNeil-Fife.
