The 1976 BV Georges de Latour is an excellent wine still drinking well, it is periodically available through K&L Wine Merchants in Redwood City, Ca for a little over $100.
Generally 1976 was a good vintage in California, a mediocre to poor one for Bordeaux. Sauternes from 1976 are generally good, '75 was better, port would may be tough, '76 was generally not declared as a vintage.
There are a number of German Rieslings of the spatlese and sweeter variety that still should drink excellently, K&L would be an excellent source here as well.
My vintage champagne knowledge is limited, but I would guess there is some possibilites here as '76 was a decent vintage, finding one will be tough.
