Nina,Welcome to the board, there's really no choice. Because it's still mostly rural and spread out over 30 times the land mass of Napa, Go to Napa.If you rent a car and are staying in S.F, take 101 hiway across the Golden Gate Bridge and about 35 miles up the road you'll see the Napa/Sonoma turnoff. Follow the well-marked road and about 20 miles further you' come to a signal light,well-marked, that says Napa left.Jes' follow that sucker past the outskirts of the city of Napa and in a few more miles you'll hit Yountville. From there on you'll see winery tasting room after tasting room. If'n you don't get some idea what type fits your pistol from all that they'll pour you, then you must go back to drinkin' beer. Have fun and Enjoy!. WW
