OK. Viansa wines are not sold at retail - they're only available through the winery and at their distribution warehouses in MA and GA (maybe one more, too). They have a wine club that the majority of their offsite sales are made to, and those are the folks who would buy wine in larger formats. The Tuscan Club price for a 750ml bottle of Piccolo back when the 95 came out was about $15 (currently @$20), which would make the 3 liter about $60, or a bit more. It's a Sangiovese made in a lighter style and Viansa suggests that it be drunk fairly young. If it's been kept in very good storage, it's probably still drinkable, but may have hit its peak.
