I would definately stick with Germany if you are looking for wines similar to Piesporter. The Germans make really nice Rieslings and Gewurtztraminers (Ge-vurtz-tra-meener)that you probably will like as well.

Also, you would like dessert wines. Many are really pricey, yet there are a few that are affordable. You can get some Sauternes for less than $20.00 per bottle.

Where are you located? If you have a nice wineshop around you they should be able to direct you.
