There are many good ones to choose from. Some of the truly special ones can only be had from the mailing lists of premium, small production wineries. When the wines are available, the winery lets you know what's out for you to order, then they ship directly to you, the consumer. Unfortunately, Michigan prohibits direct to consumer wine shipments, so it's a moot point in your case, and the retailers can't even get those wines for you. They have to get their wines from the state's wholesalers who don't deal with small production wineries. They want volume from large wineries, like Mondavi, Gallo and the like.
