Welcome to the Wine Board. If you like Cabernet Sauvignon, you're in luck. The 2001 vintage of California Cabs was the best in many, many years and they'll be slow maturing wines, also. So, if you buy some of them, and keep them under good storage conditions, they should be just wonderful when the grandkids reach their twenty first along with the wines. I suggest you go to your local fine wine shop and speak with the head wine guy. Tell him what you want and your budget, and I'm sure you'll have some tremendous wines to put away.
