thanks a great deal for such a quick reply. I am not so worried about buying wines that i need to age, I just don't want to buy anything thing to drink now that needs to be aged. Maybe it is not that easy.

I did get Wine for Dummies from the library, and just bought Teach Yourself Wine Appreciation. Thanks again for the info.

I am excited about learning more and more.
