Tkeitt, there are numerous reds that cellar well, & the occasional odd Italian white, etc. However, don't worry 'bout aging wines at this point...just buy, drink, enjoy, learn & ask more questions.

Also, buy the book 'Wine for Dummies'...unfortunate title, but you will find it very helpful for the basics & more.
