Many thanks to you and the others again. What a difference between this week and two weeks ago with my original request. I now have in my possesion the following as a result of your suggestions. For my Illinois wine that I just got through the mail last night; Chancellor '97 with Illinois on the label. I should be receiving today or tomorrow a '94 Pinor Noir from Oregon and I picked up a bottle of Maui Blanc from Cost Plus. The Maui wine doesn't have a year on it, but that's ok. The Nevada wine was the toughest. I contacted the one winery in Nevada and they don't have years on their labels. Additionally, according to the girl who answered the phone, they didn't make wine in 1996 (the year I needed). So, I just so happened to be in Vegas over the past weekend and I picked up (I can't believe I don't remember what kind) a bottle of a 1996 vintage and will use that for my collection instead. It doesn't say Nevada or any other state on it. So that's not bad.
Thanks to you all once again for your excellent suggestions, it has really helped me tremendously. I also picked up
a Fetzer's Johhannisberg that I'm actually going to try this weekend! Who knows, maybe I'll like it and get more daring on the next try.
